About the Moderator

Catherine Rhodes has superior legal expertise in matters involving bonus disputes, failure to pay compensation, wrongful termination, defamation, whistle-blowing, harassment, and slander as well as gender, age, race, and disability discrimination.

With over 25 years of experience in securities and employment law, she designs effective strategies that secure positive and creative outcomes for her clients. She specializes in advising employees behind the scenes as well as negotiating executive compensation and severance agreements. Over the course of her career, she has built relationships with established litigators to champion her cases if the matter needs to be escalated.

Her clients come from a wide range of industries. Those include financial services and entertainment, who often refer to her as their advisor and confidant. Her clients describe her as: “professional, detail-oriented and at the same time considerate and down to earth.” She is also known to be “passionate about her profession and dedicated to the people she serves.” Clients also say that Catherine is “genuinely caring, a critical resource, and calm even in the most challenging and emotionally charged situations.”

She holds a Bachelors of Arts in History from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law. Catherine also has a professional certification in Nonprofit Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She lives in Los Angeles, with her family and two dogs, and is an accomplished ceramic artist and teacher.
