TEN Business and Corporate Law Group
Topic: Sourcing Experts with Russ Rosenzweig, an MCLE Presentation
Speaker Bio: As the co-founder and CEO of Round Table Group for over thirty years, my colleagues and I are among the pioneering architects of the expert witness search and referral industry. With help from my 40+ colleagues and a network of over 250,000 professors and industry experts, we advise litigation attorneys on locating, assessing, and engaging expert witnesses.
I am the author of the newly published book, The Scholars' Treasure, which describes our entrepreneurial exploits in this arena, and have proudly lectured on the topic of expert witness best practices at dozens of elite law firms, at various Sections of the American Bar Association, and for the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Beyond running the day-to-day operations of Round Table Group, I am a speaker, educator, and philanthropist, with a passion for working closely with entrepreneurs, academics, and attorneys. As an adjunct professor and frequent guest speaker at the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, I’ve been able to share my knowledge with students and business leaders. As the founder of a global philanthropy, I’ve set out to reduce and resolve intractable conflicts using entrepreneurship tools and techniques. And as a coach and facilitator to the Department Chairs at the University of Chicago, I helped professors achieve leadership excellence outside of their scholarly fields.
More recently I have become an investor in promising startups in the legal industry, and I'm also a partner in a private equity fund (The Pillar Fund) which acquires office buildings.
On a more personal note, I am passionate about fitness (hiking, cycling, skiing, weight training), music (80s rock, jazz, classical, the clarinet), divinity, literature, first-edition signed books, and rare Montblanc pens. I am proudly a member of the Young President's Organization (YPO) and the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association.
