The TEN Probate & Estate Planning Law Group, moderated by Dale Arens, brings together like-minded professionals for insightful discussions focused on best practices in the field. Attorneys are encouraged to bring questions—whether related to active cases, recent developments, or general practice issues. Each TEN Probate & Estate Planning Law Group meeting offers a collaborative environment where participants can share strategies, explore complex legal scenarios, and gain valuable perspectives from peers. It’s an ideal space for learning, mentorship, and building strong referral relationships within the probate and estate planning community.
About the Moderator

Estate Planning and Probate lawyer Dale A. Arens, is a graduate of California State University Northridge (B.S. Accounting 1976) (2 years of post-graduate curriculum, also in accounting), Loyola Law School (J.D. 2001) and holds a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from Loyola Law School (2002). Dale has over 25 years of experience in business and has been in the practice of Estate Planning and Probate for over 13 years. Dale is a member of the California, Los Angeles County and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations. Dale served 13 years in the United States Army, 3years active and 10 in the reserves, attaining the rank of Major. Dale has served in leadership roles in various business and community organizations. Dale volunteers time to the Los Angeles Superior Court Pro Bono Probate Settlement Program.
Dale is married and has two daughters, a son and 7 grandchildren ranging in ages from 3 to 18. Dale enjoys music; playing, listening to and dancing. Dale also enjoys sports, professional and attending his grandsons’ football, track, soccer and lacrosse events. In his spare time, Dale enjoys reading.
