Since 1973, Wendy Lascher has focused on handling appeals, writs and trial court motions for other attorneys and their clients. She is one the few State Bar-certified specialists in appellate law able to handle both civil and criminal matters. She has represented businesses, government agencies and individuals in contract, defamation, accident, probate, civil rights, divorce, habeas corpus, real estate, employment, licensing and intellectual property matters. Wendy also teaches appellate law, legal writing and specialty courses. A leader in the legal profession, Wendy has served as president of both the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers.
