A Family Law attorney who emphasizes ethical, effective and expedient representation of the clients, Ms. Neumann’s philosophy is “Family Matters.” Parents may get divorced, but they remain “joined at the kid” forever. When possible, she encourages communication between the parties to resolve disputes through mediation and negotiation. She helps parents avoid the all too common scenario of causing their children to suffer while the parents rage war. When called for, she is also an aggressive and highly effective litigator. Her expertise extends to prenuptial agreements, domestic violence restraining orders, parentage actions, divorce, division of property, support and custody issues, including complex move-away cases. Whether the case requires a compassionate counselor, a smart negotiator, or a zealous litigator, Kathy G. Neumann has the skills to represent her client’s interests and to resolve problems.
Kathy G. Neumann earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of La Verne College of Law, and was admitted to the practice of law in California in 1997. She received mediation training from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. Prior to becoming a lawyer and mediator, she was a successful real estate agent and entrepreneur.
Ms. Neumann is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. She serves as a pro-bono mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Courts in Van Nuys, San Fernando, and at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in downtown LA. She has litigated cases in Los Angeles County, Ventura County, Orange County, and San Diego County Courts.
