Jason M. Burrows

Jason practices primarily in the area of trust and estate controversies and related disputes regarding real estate and business matters.

Jason seeks to resolve matters on behalf of clients through pre-litigation dispute resolution such as negotiations and/or mediation. When appropriate, he will take the client’s matter through trial.

Jason helps clients understand and navigate the complexities of the legal system, which can be daunting and frustrating. Jason looks at the big picture presented by the client’s particular controversy or dispute. When appropriate, he advises clients with any eye toward economic and strategic issues, including those pertaining to family dynamics for business succession and estate planning. By looking at the whole picture, Jason provides clients with steps toward achieving the best possible result in light of the clients’ specific goals. He also aims to cut through the legalese and explain issues in plain English to help clients understand the law, procedures and concepts.

Out of the office and courtroom, Jason enjoys spending time with family, cycling and running.
