Mr. Jimenez began his legal career in 1980, clerked for a Federal Court of Appeals judge and was highly recruited by, and served as a lawyer for several years at, the national powerhouse firm, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Jim earned his law degree from Georgetown University, served as an editor of the Georgetown Law Journal and was a finalist in the prestigious Georgetown moot court competition, arguing a complex case before a panel of eminent jurists, including the late Chief Justice of the United States, William H. Rehnquist.
Jim has 43 years’ experience representing individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses, corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies in trials, arbitrations, mediations, negotiations and settlements that involve a vast array of important and complex business and real estate matters.

• Jim grew up in Buffalo, New York and was a high school and college football star.
• He enjoys running, sports, reading, politics, music and family activities.
• Jim is passionate about his family, his law practice, politics and sports.
• Jim resides in Tarzana, California with his wife Jill and Lincoln, their rescue Golden Retriever. Their daughter Elle graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan where she served as president of the Panhellenic Association, representing more than 2,500 undergraduate women in 17 major sororities at Michigan. Elle was admitted to numerous law schools and chose to attend Georgetown Law in Washington, D.C. She is a second year law student and is a member of the Georgetown Law Journal, which represents the top 10% of her law school class.
