Speaker Bio:
Cynthia Elkins is the principal of Elkins Employment Law. With over 30 years of experience Cynthia represents employers in all aspects of employment law matters including administrative claims (DFEH, EEOC, DLSE) and civil litigation involving claims such as wage and hour violations, sexual harassment, discrimination on the basis of gender, disability or any other protected classification, retaliation, and misclassification of workers as independent contractors.
Cynthia’s practice also has a focus in personnel/human resource compliance, conducting state mandated sexual harassment prevention training, preparation of employee handbooks, employment and severance agreements.
Cynthia is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars throughout the state to educate employers on best practices and compliance.
