Topic: “The Law and Your Life: Aligning Your Personal Values with the Practice of Law” by UCLA Professor Judith Gordon.
Judith Gordon is an attorney-coach and facilitator whose driving mission is to equip lawyers and firms with research-backed tools and strategies that build the mental and emotional agility and stamina needed to thrive in today’s high-intensity, high-demand work environments. Judith is also on faculty at UCLA School of Law where she’s been teaching The Law and Your Life: Aligning Your Personal Values with Your Practice of Law, bringing these same skills to law students for the past decade. Drawing on her background in biology and physiology, and additional training in emotional and social intelligence, Judith educates attorneys to lower stress, improve productivity and performance, build mental stamina and resilience, and drive motivation for better outcomes and a healthy bottom line. Judith is a long-time meditator, nutrition enthusiast, occasional adventurer, and one-time researcher with a continued deep interest in science that plays a central role in her coaching.
