Mr. Schwartz has broad legal experience. He has operated this law firm for more than 15 years, providing legal assistance, litigation services and counseling to individuals and to small businesses. He previously served as Associate General Counsel for The Prudential and managed litigation in 11 Western States. His litigation experience began immediately after law school, when he tried more than 100 cases including more than 30 murder cases as an Assistant District Attorney under a special federal program in Brooklyn, New York.
His business experience spans very large businesses and small ‘mom and pops’. He held vice-president positions at Prudential, Transamerica and Provident Life and Accident. His senior executive roles included strategic planning, merger/acquisition/divestiture and operations; he has run a 300 employee managed-care insurance program.
Mr. Schwartz also knows small business. He has owned several businesses, and has assisted many of the firm’s business clients from start-up through established success with business advice and analysis and support. Individuals and business-owners benefit from the varied experience of Mr. Schwartz and the other lawyers who provide support and expertise as needed.
Mr. Schwartz has served on the Boards of Directors for several companies and several not-for-profits and is a Founding Director of Kidsave International.
Mr. Schwartz obtained his LLB from NYU School of Law, attended Cornell University and the SUNY Binghamton obtaining a bachelor’s degree in political science. He did post-graduate work at USC and also holds a CLU designation.
