Marlyssa Langberg, the Managing Partner at Langberg Law, graduated from Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Ms. Langberg spent the spring semester of her junior year studying Economics at the Queen Mary College in London, England. Marlyssa received her Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University School of Law. In 1997, She received Tulane Law’s esteemed “Law League of Louisiana” achievement award. Marlyssa spent the summer of 1995 studying admiralty and maritime law at Tulane Law School’s Maritime program in Mykonos and Spetses, Greece.
Ms. Langberg is a determined and compassionate advocate for her clients. Her practice areas include divorce, legal separation, summary dissolution, annulments, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, property division, domestic violence restraining orders, paternity, guardianship, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, post judgment and pre-judgment modifications, and adoption matters. In addition, she handles criminal matters, DUI defense, drug crimes, sealing and expungement, assault and battery, and traffic offenses. Most recently, Ms. Langberg represented victims in the Porter Ranch Gas Leak litigation.
In her spare time, Ms. Langberg enjoys international and domestic travel, attending plays and musical theater, working out and spending quality time with her two delightful and extraordinary daughters, Lexie and Brianna Langberg.
