Attorney Lisa Golshani practices in the area of trust and estate planning, to include Children’s Protection Planning and Special Needs Trusts. She focuses on simplifying an often complex legal process in order to create a comprehensive estate plan that reflects her clients’ personal and financial goals. It is her passion to help families plan, protect, and preserve their family, their wealth, and their legacy. As such, she takes the time to get to know her clients, educate them, answer their personal questions, address those issues that may be of particular concern to them, and provide them the peace of mind knowing that their plan will work should it ever be needed.
Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Marymount University Law School and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Andrew J. Wistrich, United States District Court Magistrate Judge. She is licensed to practice law in California and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Lisa is a member of the California State Bar Association and is an active member of Wealth Counsel, LLC, a nationwide collaboration of trusts and estates attorneys and other legal, tax and business professionals. She works with families to ensure that their children and provided for and protected, no matter what happens. Lisa goes beyond traditional planning by preparing Children’s Protection Plans for families with young children. Lisa enjoys helping her clients pass on not only their financial wealth, but their values as well. Additionally, Lisa has had the privilege to serve on the board of The Betty Ferguson Foundation and LETMESAIL.
As a Los Angeles native and a resident of Calabasas, Lisa’s roots are deep in the community. She is a frequently requested speaker in the area of Kids Protection Planning, Special Needs Trusts, Wills-vs-Trusts, and General Estate Planning.
Most importantly, Lisa is happily married to her husband, Peyman Golshani, a Neurologist and Neuroscientist and a Professor in the Dept of Neurology at UCLA. Their pride and joy are their three boys-Aaron age 8, Jonah age 11 and Joshua age 13
