Ms. J. Stacie Johnson is a partner with Youngerman & McNutt LLP, practicing in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Ms. Johnson practices professional liability defense, construction defect litigation, employment litigation, business litigation, subrogation litigation, and personal injury defense.
Ms. Johnson brings a broad base of knowledge and experience to her practice, as she has represented clients in State trial and appellate, and Federal trial courts, for over twenty-five years. In addition, she is well-versed in all phases of litigation and dispute resolution, from initial contact through settlement or trial. Ms. Johnson’s keen research and investigative skills are key to her ability to represent clients in many industries, including those that are heavily regulated.
An extensive background in contract and business tort cases, as well as real estate, partnership dispute, unlawful detainer, and unfair competition has enabled Ms. Johnson to fully serve individuals, small and large businesses, financial institutions, and a wide range of professionals, including physicians, group practices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, insurance agents and brokers, architects, and engineers.
Ms. Johnson graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She also earned her law degree from UCLA.
Ms. Johnson is a member of the California Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. She is also a member of Let’s Do Business, a San Fernando Valley networking organization, and various women’s networking organizations. She has made numerous presentations to professional and business groups on a variety of legal topics.
