Biography
Greg is a large firm (Jones Day; Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison) “refugee” and veteran of years of high-stakes business litigation who now operates a solo practice concentrating in writs, appeals, and law & motion work. He has been engaged in appellate practice since 2005 and is certified as a specialist in appellate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. In additon to serving as counsel of record for clients in their appeals, Greg also does contract work writing for other attorneys and offers consulting services to attorneys of record in appeals and original proceedings (writ petitions). He has applied his appellate expertise to a wide variety of practice areas, including contract, business torts, personal injury, child custody, domestic violence, guardianship, labor & employment, trusts, insurance coverage, and oil & gas rights.
Greg is a 1982 graduate of the United States Naval Academy (B.S., Electrical Engineering) and served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He graduated with honors from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1992.
