David Schnider is a partner in the law firm of Nolan Heimann LLP. His goal is to provide his clients with just the right amount of lawyering. David combines over 16 years of big firm litigation, corporate in house, and business management experience to help his clients identify exactly what legal help they need and to provide that help effectively and efficiently. He works with his clients to understand and solve their legal challenges in a way that makes sense for their business.
David’s practice focuses on trademarks, licensing, and general business contracts for apparel, consumer product, and interactive entertainment companies. He has filed over 250 trademark registrations in the U.S. and overseas and has negotiated and drafted hundreds of business agreements with manufacturers, distributors, publishers, and other business partners. In addition to legal work, David also understands the nuances of business development and strategy, having developed a multi-million-dollar licensed apparel division from scratch.
David earned a dergee in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley and his JD from UC Hastings College of the Law, where he was the Senior Production and Internet Editor of the Hastings Communications and Entertainment Law Journal.
